Irish Government Minister Simon Harris visits Sentenial offices in Paris for the launch of Nuapay, Sentenial’s Payment Institution

Paris, 31st March 2015 – Minister of State Simon Harris is sponsoring the Irish Government’s IFS2020 plan – a new Strategy for Ireland’s International Financial Services Sector throughout Europe. He was in Paris for that purpose and visited Sentenial’s Parisian offices, where he attended the launch of Nuapay, a new payment service being introduced by Sentenial. This disruptive new service offers businesses across Europe an advanced direct debit & credit transfer services which leverage the company’s Next Generation European Payments Platform and FCA granted Authorised Payment Institution license.

Brian Hanrahan, Sentenial Chief Commercial Officer, presented to the Minister on the growth of the financial technology (Fintech) sector and the positive impact it is having in terms of increased innovation and market competition. They discussed the regulatory environment and how Fintech companies will now provide real choice and service innovation to business users of payments in a market which has been lacking both.
