The Group Treasury Exchange is the only event in Europe which is exclusively for group treasurers and was held this year at the Dolce Munich Hotel, Germany.
The event, which was held on the 8th and 9th of September, welcomed group treasurers from the world’s largest organisations and was the perfect platform for guests to get a sneak peak at the latest updates, techniques, challenges and solutions deployed across the industry.
One of the esteemed speakers at the GTE event was Brian Hanrahan, CCO at Sentenial, the company behind Nuapay. B. Hanrahan attended the exclusive event to explain the benefits and big wins to be had for corporates in the wake of SEPA.
In his talk entitled “SEPA 2.0; reaping the benefits”, B. Hanrahan went through the key points of SEPA including payment and collection factories and E mandates. As the CCO of Sentential, a company which has revolutionised cloud based payment services, B. Hanrahan has a wealth of experience in helping business to conform to and implement SEPA.
B. Hanrahan addressed the audience of group treasurers and explained the challenges corporate businesses face in the light of SEPA 2.0 with companies looking to centralize payments and collections activities. He then went on to explain how Sentenial can help with this transition as they aim to expedite the process, providing an accelerated path to SEPA 2.0.
